Ekiti: Excitement As Oyebanji Swears-in New Commissioners, Special Advisers … We’ll just the confidence repose in us – Commissioners

It was like a carnival event in Ado-Ekiti today as the governor of Ekiti State, Mr Biodun Oyebanji sworn-in the new set of Commissioners and Special Advisers alongside announcing their portfolios.

The governor who charged them to deploy their energy and talents in moving the state forward in line with his administration’s blueprint.

Those sworn were 19 commissioners and 14 Special Advisers.

Governor Oyebanji, who congratulated the appointees, explained that their selection was rigorous and competitive, hence they must work to justify the confidence reposed in them.

The Governor, who told them to see their appointments as a privilege to serve the people, sought their total dedication and diligence to duties.

He charged them to hit the ground running and work in tandem with the principles and practice of the present administration.

As part of moves to share the vision and build on the existing achievements, the Governor informed them, that a retreat would be held to inject new innovations and synchronize ideas into the system of government.

The governor refuted the claims on social media that there was no Executive Council meeting held in the state before now.

Speaking with TopNewsng in a separate interviews shortly after the ceremony, the Commissioner for Environment; Mrs Tosin Aluko, that of Education; Dr Kofoworola Aderiye and Commissioner for Transportation; Mr Kehinde Ajobiewe and the Special Adviser to the Governor on Social Investment Programme; Mrs Yemisi Ayokunle, thanked the Governor for the appointment and promised their readiness to work with him to actualize his dream for the state and the people.
