We’ll Reposition Sports Sector In Ekiti – FA Chairman, Oloworemo Assures …solicits SWAN, others cooperation

The newly inaugurated Chairman of Football Association, Ekiti State Chapter, Aare Oluwole Oloworemo has pledged the readiness of his administration to take Sports sector in the state to greater heights.

Oloworemo gave the assurance today during a media parly held at the State Ministry of Health, Ado-Ekiti as part of the continuation of his administration interface with stakeholders in the sports sector.

The meeting which was organized as part of the new FA administration’s to discuss on how the body of sport journalists can be effectively project the activities of the Ekiti FA to the entire world.

While calling for the collaboration of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria and other stakeholders in the state, Aare Oloworemo promised to introduce Public Private Partnership (PPP), in order to take sporting activities to the next level.

His words: “We can’t do it alone, we need everybody’s to be involve so that we can take Ekiti Sports to the greater heights. My doors are open for suggestions, contributions and how we can make Ekiti great”, he stated.

The media parley with members of SWAN Ekiti in the state had in attendance other Board members of the Ekiti FA.

According to him, he ceased the opportunity to intimate the press men on some of the agendas of the newly elected FA board which include; getting an office for the FA, creating good interaction with the state government on football matters and carrying all affiliated bodies along among others.

“We must see Sports as an investment that can brings more development to our dear beloved state. SWAN would be carried along in all the activities of FA”.

“Ekiti indigenes in the political circles will be reach out to, for developmental assist to move Ekiti forward as we won’t fold arms and different tackle approach would be introduced to sports.”

Aare Oloworemo, who also doubled as BOT Chairman of All Star Football International in Ekiti, was drilled by crop of journalists on certain areas that needed attention in the development of football in the state.

Also speaking at the function, the SWAN Chairman, Alhaji Qozeem Oladapo who spoke on behalf of other members promised the FA the unflinching support of the Sports writers.

Oladapo, therefore, commended Chief Oloworemo for his philanthropic gustures towards repositioning the sport sector in the state.

It would be recalled that TopNewsng was last week made it known that, the new FA boss met with bodies affiliated to the FA including Coaches Association, Referees Council and the Supporters Club to discuss the way forward and how the beautiful game will be taken to a new height in the state.
