A Professor of Social and Environmental Forestry at the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Opeyemi Ajewole has been killed by gunmen suspected to be assassins.
It was gathered that Ajewole was killed last night while returning home by yet-to-be-identified gunmen.

While speaking to journalists on the sad incident, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Adewale Osifeso, said, “The matter is under investigation and that updates would be provided.”
