No Cause for Alarm, Pastor Reuben Initiative is Intact — Pastor Wilson

Founder and Chairman Board of Trustees of the Pastor Reuben Initiative For Good Leadership and Accountability, PRIFGLA, Pastor Reuben Wilson has disclosed that there is cause to worry as the Initiative is together as one united body.

Wilson who gave the disclosure at an enlarged general meeting of the organization in Yenagoa on the wake of the defection of the former Director General, Dr. Solomon David to the People’s Democratic party.

He noted that despite switching camp to the PDP the former Director General remains his political son and wished him well in his future political endeavor.

Wilson emphasized that Dr.David has been his political son whom he had nurtured and groomed for many years, pointing out that he would continue to maintain son and father relationship.

He tasked members of the initiative to remain steadfast and continue to keep faith with the Sylva/MacIver ticket, and assured members of victory come November 11 polls.

He also pledged the allegiance of the initiative to the sylva/maciver ticket and there was no going back.

“That is politics for you, you know that politics is a game of interest. Maybe he has found a better home than here. All I have to say is to wish him well, but the Initiative is intact. This is an election that we have won already so any one that is leaving the party is making a very big mistake.

“I know what we have done as an organization in terms of grassroot campaign, the minds of the people is for APC they are ready to vote for the APC. The reason my former Director General left is best known to him, I have treated him well as a brother, I have treated him well as a political son and I have done all a leader would have done for someone he loves.

“As for the Pastor Reuben Initiative, all our members and the executive are intact. Our directors, Coordinators, Woman leader, Constituency Coordinator and Ward Coordinators are all together’.

In his acceptance speech, the acting Director General, Frank Eseimokumo Soko thanked the Almighty God and the founder of the organization for the elevation, and pledged to work with members of the Initiative to ensure victory for the APC come November 11 polls.

Soko assured that he would lead with humility and work together as a one united family, adding that he would not betray the confidence reposed on him.

The National Woman Leader, Pastor Ruth Iyalah and the National Financial Secretary of PRIFGLA, Hon. Olowo Florence said that they have done enough grassroot sensitization of the women across the state to vote for APC, adding that the women are ready to deliver massively for the APC.
