Environmental Sanitation Hold in Ekiti Tomorrow – Commissioner for Environment, Aluko

This month edition of environmental sanitation will come up tomorrow (Saturday) between the 7am – 10am in the morning.

According to the statement made available to TopNews in Ado-Ekiti by the Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Chief (Mrs) Tosin Aluko-Ajisafe, all government employees are urged to clean their offices and surroundings today, Friday, 26th January, 2024 before the end of the workday.

The statement urged the residents to clean their environment during the exercise so as to maintain hygienic environment in their areas. The statement also said that their would be restriction of movement during the exercise except those on official assignment.

All top government functionaries and security agencies are expected to monitor the exercise.

For the purpose of prosecuting violators of environmental health and sanitation laws, Mobile Courts shall be in operation across the State.

Finally, the statement urged the residents to maintain a clean and tidy environment during this dry season.
