Hope Rises As Expert Trains Females On Financial Management Skills in Ekiti

A financial management expert, Mrs Yemisi Akin-Babalola has admonished girls child in Ekiti state and Nigeria in general to be well focus in whatever they are doing.

She gave the charge at the ongoing Ekiti Enterprise Challenge which was organized purposely aiming at empowering young Ekiti entrepreneurs in the state.

Addressing participants at the event, the resource person who also doubled as the Head of Business Assurance – Internal Audit, Ekiti State Revenue Service (EKSRS), Mrs. Yemisi Akin-Babalola who engaged the young aspiring youths shortlisted for the prize money to an indepth incisive training on the topic: “Financial Management Skills For Emerging Entrepreneurs”.

Mrs Akin-Babalola who took her time to lectured the participants on how effective financial management was central to their business growth, understand how cash-flow works and how to keep important financial records and manage banking relationship amongst others.

It would be recalled that the Ekiti Enterprise Challenge (EEC) is an initiative of the Iworoko-born Engr. Dare Ojo aimed at identifying businesses in Ekiti state owned by Ekiti indigenes that are doing well but who needs some financial support, trainings and network.

 

The week long event will be rounded up tomorrow Saturday during which the grand finale where three lucky winners would emerge with the star prize of N1.5m as take home.

Some of the participants while commenting on the laudable program commended the organizers and the resource person at the program.
