OGSOSA Leaders Meet, Sets To Pay Courtsey Visit Ahead Of Hon. Segun Ola’s Final Funeral

Following the recent transition of Hon. Festus Olusegun Ola, a former member of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, a graduate of the Obafemi Awolowo University; Ile-Ife in Osun State, an administrator and businessman was a alumnus of the 1968 Set and a former Chairman of the Ekiti State Branch of Okemesi Grammar School Old Students Association (OGSOSA) Alumni.

According to the funeral obsequies announced by the family that on Thursday 27th of July 2023, the Wake keep and service of songs will be hold at his residence, Segun Ola’s close, GRA, Ado-Ekiti by 5:00pm, while Church service will come up at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Oke-Ila Area, Ado-Ekiti at 10:00am. Reception and entertainment of guests will be followed immediately at Great Eagles Hall, along Ikere Road, Ado-Ekiti.

It would be recalled that the deceased, a community leader in Ado-Ekiti, was one of the pioneers/flagship and committed members of the OGSOSA during his life time especially in Ekiti State.

Meanwhile, the chairman of the Ekiti State Branch Alumni Association, Engr. Tunde Ajanaku has directed all OGSOSA Alumni members in Ekiti State to attend a special courtesy visit of the Ekiti Branch to the family of the deceased where a certain amount contributed by members of the chapter will be handed over to the family.

This is contained in a statement by the Secretary, OGSOSA Alumni Association, Ekiti State Branch, Engr. Bisi Olagunju.

Engr. Tunde Ajanaku, the branch chairman, who appealed to all members in Ekiti State and it’s environ to endeavor to attend, said the special visit is intended to among other reasons, make necessary plans on how members are going to honour the deceased Patriot at his burial on Thursday and Friday of July, 2023.

The entire OGSOSA members, all friends and loved ones shall miss you dearly. Continue to rest on till the resurrection day that we meet and part no more!
