The Nigerian Medical Association, Ekiti State Branch, has applauded the governor of the state, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji over the appointment of Dr. Folakemi Olomojobi as the Head of Service.
They described the appointment as a testament to the versatility and pluri-potency of medical professionals.
According to a statement made available to TopNews in Ado-Ekiti by the NMA chairman, Dr Babatunde Rosiji and the secretary, Dr Moses Dada stated that it was a welcome development to the medical practitioners in the state. “We received with great excitement the news of the appointment of Dr. Folakemi Olomojobi as the new Head of Service of Ekiti State.
“On behalf of the State Executive Council (SEC), State Officers Committee (SOC) and entire members of Ekiti State Branch of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), we appreciate the Governor for the trust reposed in our colleague to pilot the affairs of the Ekiti State Civil Service.
NMA further said, “We see the appointment as a round peg in a round hole and we are certain that Dr. Olomojobi will live up to the task having shown a Midas touch in her previous service posts.
“We pray for more celestial guidance for His Excellency the Governor as you continue to steer the ship of our dear State.
“Accept the assurances of our best and humble regards”, the association stated.
