As part of it’s efforts towards promoting unity and harmony within the football community in the land of honour, the Ekiti State Coaches Association in collaboration with the Ekiti State Football Association, has inaugurated a Reconciliation Committee. This move is aimed at bridging the gap between the two existing factions of the Coaches Association in the state.
The Reconciliation Committee, comprising esteemed members of the football community, has been tasked with engaging both factions to address their grievances, encourage cooperation, and work towards a unified approach. This unified approach will not only enhance the visibility of the Coaches Association but also increase its effectiveness in promoting football development in Ekiti State.
Addressing the stakeholders during the inauguration ceremony, the Ekiti State Football Association Chairman, Chief Oluwole Oloworemo, emphasized the importance of the committee’s mission. “I charge this committee to work tirelessly to find a lasting solution to the rift within the Coaches Association. The coaches association is a vital part of our football ecosystem, and I have every confidence that this committee will succeed in their mission.”

Aare Oloworemo expressed his trust in the committee members, citing their wealth of experience and understanding of the issues at hand. “I have carefully selected members who understand the history of the differences between the two factions and are committed to finding a solution.”
The Reconciliation Committee Members are:
– Mrs. Jumoke Abe – Chairman (Ekiti State FA Board Member)
– Mr. Soji Farotimi – Member (Chairman Ekiti Football League)
– Mr. Bisi Ogunleye – Member
– Mr. Olamide Awoyinfa – Member
– Mr. Bamidele Olumide – Secretary
With the inauguration of the Reconciliation Committee, the Ekiti State Football Association has taken a significant step towards promoting unity and harmony within the football community.
