Odofin FC, a club established just a few years ago, proved they are no longer the “new kids on the block as they displayed maturity with dignity on the pitch of football on Friday by sending signals to other teams in the competition to buckle up their bet in the remaining matches.”

After their impressive draw on Match Day 1 with an outstanding performance against the heavyweights boasted Odowo FC, they returned to the pitch on Friday to prove points, even more fire and tactical brilliance as they were exceptionally and outstanding throughout the game against their opponents; the Okeloro Boys.
The star of the show was undoubtedly Afolabi, who eventually became the Lionel Mercy of this world.

Afolabi, who after serving as the goalkeeper for Odowo FC for two consecutive years, his move to join Odofin FC last year has proven to be a masterstroke.
He wasn’t just a wall in the goal post, he was a force of nature across the entire pitch. In a performance that will be talked about for years, Afolabi secured the win for his side by scoring all three goals, thereby secured the first hat-trick of the tournament!

Okeloro FC, playing their first match of the competition, showed why they are a team to be respected. Despite the loss, their coordination and skill level were top-notch.
Though, they tried all the could to pushed the Odofin Boys to a limit and displayed a level of play that suggests they will be a major threat in their upcoming fixtures, but at last, the Odofin side them skills on the pitch.

It ended 3-1 in favour of Odofin FC with a clinical finishing and high energy that got the visitors disappointed on the dot of 90 minutes as Solomon Godwin netted a lone goal for Okeloro FC as consolation that all hope not yet lost.
It was truly a brave performance that won the hearts of the spectators amidst pomp and celebration with a high hope on the next encounter come monday.
