The Vice Chancellor, Ekiti State University, Ado – Ekiti, Professor Babatola Ayodele and the entire university community have commended the Governor of Ekiti State, His Excellency, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for the release of the outstanding December, 2023 subvention to the university.
According to a release made available to TopNews in Ado-Ekiti by the Deputy Registrar/ Head, Directorate of Information & Corporate Affairs, Bode Olofinmuagun said, the Vice Chancellor particularly noted with delight that this kind gesture would no doubt, reduce the financial burden on the university and also enable the university to fulfil its financial obligations to its staff to enable them to meet their needs and put smiles on their faces during the yuletide season.
The Vice Chancellor noted further that the monthly subventions to the university were being released promptly since the beginning of the Oyebanji administration.
He assured the Governor of the continued support of the university community to his administration.
