Residents of Bamgboye Community along Ikere road, Ajilosun area of Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State have raised alarm over their dire infrastructure situation and social amenities, pleading with Governor Biodun Oyebanji, Senate Leader representing Ekiti Central Senatorial District, Michael Opeyemi Bamidele, Hon. Sola Fatoba and Ado Central LCDA Chairman, Engr. Toyin Ojo to please urgently intervene to their cries.
The residents, who decried the severe hardship caused by poor drainage systems and dilapidated roads linking the community, particularly during the wet season.

According to them, the absence of functional drainage has led to persistent flooding, while roads linking the community with other residents remain in shambolic condition.
Speaking with newsmen in Ado-Ekiti, the chairman of the community, Mr Joseph Abosede Ajayi explained that heavy rains often prevent them from playing the road with their cars due to poor conditions of the eoad.
He added that many businesses have collapsed and families have been forced apart due to the situation epileptic power supply to the community.

While commending Governor Oyebanji for his numerous developmental projects across length and breght of Ekiti State, the community leader appealed for urgent attention to their plight. He noted that Bamgboye community is one of the fastest-growing areas of Ado-Ekiti and requires immediate intervention to match its development pace.
Others who spoke with TopNews journalists Mrs Ishola Funmilayo, Pastor Fajobi Adesina and the immediate past chairman of the community, Deaconess Phebian Aduke Fatunase further suggested that constructing the road with solar power street-light could serve as an alternative route to other neighboring communities.
In addition, they highlighted their suffering from erratic electricity supply and called on Governor Oyebanji, Senate Leader and Ekiti Central Senator, Distinguished Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele, and Hon. Steve Olusola Fatoba to assist with a transformer to revive their businesses and improve their living conditions.
According to them, “Governor Oyebanji is really doing well, and our representatives at the National Assembly have been very supportive. We believe in them and will continue to repose our confidence in them by supporting them with our votes,” they pledged their commitment.
