Glitz, Encomiums As Principal Bamiyo Oluwasuyi Bows Out Of Service Amidst Pomp And Ceremony

It was celebration galore and a joyful moment at the sendforth ceremony for Mr Ebenezer Bamiyo Oluwasuyi, a retired principal at Ilukuno Community Grammar School, Ilukuno Ekiti in Ijero Local Government Areas of Ekiti State where teachers showered encomiums and commendations on their former boss.
Dignitaries from all walks of life gathered to celebrate Mr Oluwasuyi an hardworking, transparent, caring, cerebral and easygoing teacher of teachers after a 35-years of active services to human kind.
Thiscreative, innovative and developmental teacher has spent solid years of productive covering different angles in teaching profession.
The two-in-one occasion also combined with the sendforth for some of the transferred teachers in the school the likes of Mrs Atobaba Oluwabunmi, Mrs Ajayi, Mrs Abe, Mrs Stephen, Mrs Awodiimigbe and Mrs Kolade also joined the celebrant to appreciate to God for His kindness over them.
Held at the spacious hall of the School, dignitaries and guests from far and near gorgeously dressed in their various beautiful best attaires which eventually added glamour and colour to the epoch making event. The school hall, sparked in a different very decoration colours.
Diverse musical instruments were on display, and joyous school choir and cultural group enliven the guests.
Rejoicing with the celebrants, the new principal Mrs Adaragbe said the retired principal should take his time to rest and take care of his health as priority.
Commenting on the event, one of the teachers, Mrs Atobaba Oluwabunmi described the celebrant as persnoality like a father whose characters worth emulating for all human being.
“I can only refered to him as an embodiment of good behavior, he’s like a father to to many of us who worked with him. You can never see him angry nor fight anyone unnecessary. He’s a love trust and a committed boss per excellence”.
Atobaba who used the medium to appreciate the retired principal for his fatherly care while they are still working together and pray that his children will not lack destiny helpers. She advised other colleagues to emulate the good character of the principal.
She appreciated the staff and students of the school on behalf of other tranffered teachers for the gifts given to them in appreciation of their robust commitment while in the school.
Other members of staff who spoke about the selfless service of the retired principal include the Chairman of the Parents Teachers Association (PTA), Mr Adaragbe who also commended the hard-working retired principal.
Responding, the celebrant, Mr Ebenezer Bamiyo Oluwasuyi appreciated the staff of the school for giving him a befitting sendforth program and encourage the teachers to always do good by contributing their quota towards the development of the society.
Oluwasuyi who could not hold his joy was born on October 25th,1962 in Igede-Ekiti. He started his education career at Baptist Primary school, Igede-Ekiti 1968, the Headquarters of Irepodun/Ifelodun Local Government Areas of Ekiti State.
He joined Baptist Secondary Modern School, Igede-Ekiti as well and later proceeded to Awo Community Comprehensive High School, Awo-Ekiti, he later gained admission to Osun State College of Education, Ila Orogun where he majored in Mathematics, Economics and Education. He bagged his Bachelor degree in Mathematics Education at University of Ilorin, Kwara State. Also he added to his educational knowledge by attending University of Ibadan for his Master’s Degree where he was awarded M. ED in teacher Education.
Oluwasuyi has worked in different schools which includes; Aaye-Oja Community Grammar School, Araromi-Obo and many other schools, to mention but a few. He later retired at Ilukuno Community Grammar School where he was celebrated like a king.
The easygoing Oluwasuyi was awarded best performing teacher in Ido-Osi Local Government in 1993, commendation letter was given to him in year 2007, same year a certificate of Merit was offered him by Ekiti State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM).
Mr Oluwasuyi is a member of Christ Apostolic Church, Ifaki-Ekiti in Odo-osi Local Government, where he served as the Financial Secretary.
It was indeed a remarkable occasion with a long lasting memory to the guests.
