Association of Nigerian Broadcasters (ANBROAD), Ekiti State chapter, has commended the governor of the state, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji over his support for the association and the welfare of its members.
According to a statement made available to TopNews in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital by the State Deputy Governor of the Association, Mrs. Olatomide Feyisayo, who is also Special Assistant to the governor on Entertainment during the association’s New Year get-together.
Also, the governor of the Association, Elder Olugbenga Olaniyan advised members to always be good ambassadors of the association and announced that the association will hold the inauguration of its state executives in March this year.
Giving the advice in his speech at the association’s New Year get-together held at Fresh 106.9 FM, station in Ado Ekiti, Olaniyan also called on new members to hold the flag of the association high wherever they go in order to maintain its good name.
In his speech, the General Manager of Fresh 106.9 FM, Mr Jide Ogunluyi who warmly welcomed the association to hold the party in the premises of the radio station, expressed gratitude to God, and assured them of his support always serving as intermediary between ANBROAD and his colleagues in other radio stations in Ekiti State.
The Spiritual Father of the association, Pastor Kayode Olusoji Joseph from the New Garden of Destiny Ministry International, who also spoke, maintained that ANBROAD as an association has come to stay, prayed that it shall continue to wax stronger in all ways
He tasked the members especially the young broadcasters to always have the fear of elders at heart, be prayerful and humble.
In his speech, the National Financial Secretary of the association, Apostle Bayo Famoroti, who described ANBROAD as a dominant association in Ekiti and Nigeria, urged the members to extend love to one another, as it is the way that the association can progress and be fruitful.
The Pioneer Chairman, Mr Kayode Jedege, some of the Association Elders, Chief Akinlade Ojo Erugale, Baba Odeyemi, Kokoirin Arinde, The P.R.O, Oloruntoba Ajibade, the Chairman Planning committee for the event, Mr Olukayode Ogunleye, other executive members, the members, new members among other invited guests really enjoyed themselves wholeheartedly.
