The National Vice President, Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), South West Zone, Ayodeji Ogunsakin is to be honoured with an award of “An emerging leader in sports broadcast journalism”, by the Ekiti Future Agenda (EFA).
Ogunsakin, the Head of Sports unit and a Manager News and Current Affairs in the Nigerian Television Authority, NTA Ado-Ekiti, will be honoured alongside some other deserving Ekiti sons and daughters at the Ekiti Future Agenda’s 16th anniversary ceremony.
Organisers premised the award of honour on his contributions, character, and commitment to excellence that represent the values that make Ekiti a beacon of hope.
According to the Convener, Ekiti Future Agenda Adesina Adetola, the event with the theme “EKITI KETE: Sustaining Our Values, Re-Igniting the Spirit of Our Forebears,” will assemble eminent Ekiti sons and daughters at home and in the diaspora, and has been scheduled for Thursday, February 26th, 2026 at the Adetiloye Hall, Trade Fair Complex, Ado-Ekiti.
