The Southern Ijaw Coordinator of All Progressives Congress (APC) Gubernatorial Campaign Council and founder of the Pastor Reuben Initiative for Good Leadership and Accountability (PRIGLA), Pastor Reuben Wilson has called on his supporters to remain calm, focused and keep faith with the Sylva/MacIver ticket as well as the APC as the November 11 governorship election draw closer.
In release signed by Pastor Reuben Wilson and made available to TopNewsng in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State said PRIGLA is fully committed to ensure that the APC candidate and his running mate emerge victorious in the forthcoming election.
He therefore urged his teeming supporters not to be distracted by mundane issues but rather be more focused and redouble their efforts towards the campaign activities to win their various polling units for Chief Timipre Sylva and Great Joshua MacIver.
The Southern Ijaw Coordinator of Bayelsa State Gubernatorial Campaign Council advised followers not to be discouraged that their names were not captured in the campaign council, insisting that Chief Sylva and Great Joshua MacIver are aware of their sacrifices and the efforts made towards the victory of the APC
The statement reads: “This is to call on all Pastor Reuben Wilson supporters to remain calm,focused and keep faith with the Sylva/Maciver ticket and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the November 11th gubernatorial election.
“The leadership of the Pastor Reuben Initiative for Good Leadership and Accountability is fully committed to securing victory for our amiable Gubernatorial candidate and his running mate in the forthcoming election.
“We should therefore,not be distracted by trivial issues but be focused on putting more efforts to ensure victory for the All Progressives Congress in the November 11th Gubernatorial election in the state.
“It is my pleasure to inform all my supporters that His Excellency,Chief Timpre Sylva and his running mate,the Great Maciver Joshua are aware of our sacrifices and efforts geared towards ensuring victory for them and our great party
“Therefore,nobody should be discouraged by the fact that our members didn’t make the Gubernatorial Campaign Council list. The party is still looking into it and will make the necessary adjustments in due course.
“We should put more efforts in the campaign activities and do our best in the election by ensuring that we all win our various polling units to give our candidate and his running mate a landslide victory in the forthcoming gubernatorial election.
“Finally, I want to thank you all for your continuous support and goodwill.We shall surely win the November 11th Gubernatorial election in the state for our dear party,” he added.
