10th Assembly: Ekiti NUJ Hails Emergence Of Bamidele As Majority Leader

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ekiti State Council has felicitated the Senator representing Ekiti Central Senatorial District, Micheal Opeyemi Bamidele on his emergence as the Majority leader of the 10th Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

In a statement made available to TopNewsng Newspaper in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital, by the Council Chairman and Secretary, Comrades Rotimi Ojomoyela and Kayode Babatuyi, the announcement of Bamidele was received with excitement by media professionals being a friend and benefactor to the union.

The union also rejoiced with the state Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, the APC family and every Ekiti indigenes for having one of their own at the top echelon of the Red Chamber.

The NUJ leaders noted that Hon. Bamidele’s appointment was based on his maturity, dexterity, sincerity and loyalty to the ideology of the party.

They pledged the support of the union for the lawmaker.
