….As Governor pledges continue support

Executives and members of the Poultry Farmers Association of Nigeria (PAN), Ekiti State chapter has applauded the Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji over his various developmental initiatives for the farmers in the state.
The chairman of the association, comrade Alonge Oluwasetemi who expressed delight while speaking with TopNews in Ado-Ekiti on Friday during this year World Egg Day, thanked Governor Oyebanji and Commissioner for Agriculture in Ekiti State, Mr Ebenezer Boluwade for helping hands rendered to the association, noting that it will go a long way and that it would also bring more development to the businesses of their members.


The association in a glamorous and exciting mood while celebrating the 2025 World Egg Day with the theme; “The Mighty Egg: Packed With Natural Nutrition”, held at Fajuyi Pavilion, unanimously recommended the governor for his outstanding performance within three years in office.
He said, “for the governor sterling performance across board since his assumption of office, this is highly commendable and we are proud to be identify with him as our number one leader in the state”.
According to the chairman: “In terms of governance, leadership qualities and infrastructural development, Governor Oyebanji has truly exceeded our expectations through regular interventions to our members which is first of its kind in the history of the association in Ekiti.
Our association has benefited a lot under the administration of governor Biodun Oyebanji and this indeed makes us to be solidly behind him for more successes.

While congratulating the governor on the celebration of his third years in office, Oluwasetemi charged his members to continue to be good ambassadors of farmers and use their expertise in helping the governor deliver on his promise to deliver shared prosperity to Ekiti people.
The association harps on the importance of taken an egg daily, at least one per person.
Responding, Governor Biodun Oyebanji appreciated members of PAN for their commitment and for doing their business in a lawful manner.
Oyebanji who highlighted his administration’s efforts in making the state habitable was represented by the Commissioner for Agric and Food Security, Mr Ebenezer Boluwade congratulated the association on the annual celebration of World Egg Day.

He pledged his administration continue support to the farmers across the state for a greater productivity.
Other stakeholders who spoke with journalists in a separate interview includes; the chairman of All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN); Mr Ademola Alagbada, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Rehabilitation and Mental Health; Mrs Funmi layo, Chairman Veterinary Association of Nigeria; Dr Ojo and a representative from the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development; Mrs Afuye Modupe.

They reiterated their continue support for the governor and his administration to bring more dividends of democracy into the state.

Highlight of the event was donation of hundreds of creates of eggs from the Poultry Farmers Association to the three government special schools in Ekiti State.
