Stakeholders Chat A New Course to Develop Football Ecosystem in Eki

Concerned football administrators in Ekiti State has harps on the importance and correct approach to high professionalism among technical crews of state-owned football teams which includes Ekiti Queens Football Club, Ekiti Feeders Team, Ekiti United FC as well as its Feeders Team.

Speaking at a One-Day training workshop initiative aims to promote excellence and accountability within Ekiti’s football teams, tagged: “Skill Upscaling, Effective Team’s Communication And Management”, the Technical Advisor to the Governor of Ekiti State on Sports Development, Dr. Olusola Osetoba thanked the participants for their passion and love for Ekiti and sports development in general.

Osetoba who declared the event opened was accompanied by Special Assistants to the Governor on Sports, Hon. Kola Owoseni and Hon. Tunde Adesanya urged all the backroom staff members to adhere strictly to the code of conduct and maintained friendly relations with players.

The One-Day event but loaded with varieties of teachings on team-match officials’ relationships and management skills by a professional referee, Mr. Toyese Omotoye and Mr. Bello Mustapha, highlighting desired attitudes on and off the pitch for rapid team development.

Omotoye advised the technical crew of the two teams to imbibe the culture of preparing well for matches and do a way with the must-win attitude.

On his part, Mustapha a seasoned football coach urged the state government to expedite action on improving the welfare of the players by the introduction of other incentives that will engender player development and team success.

Francis Akinlabi who is the SSA on Special Trip, Alhaja Fasilat Adeshina; SSA on Grassroots Mobilization, PFAN Chairman; comrade Oluwole Ogunwole, SWAN Vice President South West; Alhaji Deji Ogunsakin and SWAN Ekiti State Chairman; Alhaji Qozeem Oladapo, among many others.
