Sports Stakeholders Chart New Course With EKSG On Football Development …as Referee’s Council visits DG C/Communication

The need for stakeholders to cooperate and work towards making sports particularly football developmental agent has been emphasized. This was the central theme as the Chairman and strong delegates of Ekiti State Referees Council visited the Director General of Youth Development, Hon. (Mrs) Mary Oso-Omotoso at her office, Lady Jibowu, Government House, Ado-Ekiti on Monday.
Representing the Referees Council at the meeting were Chairman, Mr Oguntuase Adesina, General Secretary, Mr Adegoke Olusola, Mr T. Familoyo, Elder O. Agboola and Prince Kehinde Adetule.
The Executive of the Referees Association during the courtesy visit to the DG, Community Communication, Hon. Mary Oso-Omotoso at her Lady Jibowu’s office in Ado-Ekiti.
While commending the Referees Council for their role in football development in Ekiti State, the DG expressed her pleasure to host and interact with leaders of Referees in Ekiti.
She promised to include the Council in her agency’s stakeholders engagement plan, this is as she also pledged to ensure that adequate support are given to the Referees Council.

Hon. Omotoso added that the government of the day led by Governor Oyebanji is very passionate about sports and have great desire to use Sports as a tool for economic growth and youth development.
In his remarks, the Chairman Ekiti State Football Referee Council, Mr Oguntuase thanked the DG and promised to always key into the Sports development agenda of the State Government.
