The Vice Chancellor, Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, Professor Babatola Ayodele has applauded and congratulates the Ekiti State Governor and Visitor to the university, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji on the award bestowed on him as the SILVERBIRD MAN OF THE YEAR 2024 by the Siverbird Television.
The Vice Chancellor in a statement made available to TopNews in Ado-Ekiti by the Head, Directorate of Information and Corporate Affairs, Mr Bode Olofinmuagun described the award as “timely and a well deserved considering Governor Oyebanji’s genuine commitment towards the overall development of Ekiti State”.
Professor Ayodele expressed joy on the award, noting that the giant strides of the Governor are being applauded beyond Ekiti State, which culminated into his emergence out of other three personalities shortlisted for the prestigious award.
While appreciating the Management of Silverbird Television for finding the Governor worthy of the award, Professor Ayodele implored the hardworking Governor to remain focused in his quest to leave Ekiti State better than he met it, through his transformative agenda.
The Vice Chancellor assured the Governor of the University Management’s unalloyed loyalty to his administration, particularly considering Mr. Governor’s various interventions aimed at repositioning Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, his alma mater.
