A non-political group under the eagies of Okemesi Improvement Union (OIU), Ado-Ekiti Branch, has commended the Governor of Ekiti State, H.E Biodun Oyebanji over his sterling performance across length and bregth of the state within the last three years in office.
The union in a statement made available to TopNews in Ado-Ekiti by its chairman, Prince Hon. Bayo Adeniran and the vice chairman, Chief Hon. Segun Onaade described the governor as God’s-sent and talk and do personality in this political era in Ekiti.
According to the body, the governor has performed excellently well in Okemesi community with a lot of laudable projects which includes; laying of ashfalt road that will stands test of time from Itawure to Okemesi township roads, renovation of health centres in the community and upgrading of the Okemesi General Hospital
“Rising from its regular monthly statutory meeting held in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital, the leadership of FOIU came up with a communique, declaring His Excellency, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji as God-sent quintessential Asset to the good people of Ekiti State, as exemplified through memorable and monumental developmental projects recorded in his scorecard to move the State forward. The Governor’s visible, unprecedented achievements are not only inspiring, but also a great pride for posterity to laud and appreciate”.
“In particular and on permanent motivating record, Okemesi-Ekiti has impressively enjoyed dividends of democracy, under the progressive administration of Governor Oyebanji. This was declared and confirmed by Ado-Ekiti Branch of FOIU, under the progressive Chairmanship of Prince Hon. Bayo Adeniran, who glowingly commended Governor Oyebanji for extending such unique infrastructural facilities to the Community”.
The statement further said, “the whole Okemesi Community, led by HRM, Oba Michael Gbadebo Adedeji, JP, CON, also expressed sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Governor for providing the Community with such high-profile infrastructural facilities, including solid road network and modern facility-equipped General Hospital.
“As we welcome our indefatigable governor to Okemesi community for the official commissioning various laudable projects, the Ado-Ekiti Branch of Okemesi Federation of Okemesi improvement Unions (OIU), also prayed for divine fulfilment of Governor Oyebanji’s aspirations, especially his 2026 election victory for second term in office as Governor of Ekiti State, till 2030”, the Union concluded.
