The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Ekiti State chapter has urged the newly 7th Assembly inaugurated lawmakers in the state to prioritize the development of Women/Girl Child, Youth and the Vulnerable.

The women journalists tasked the lawmakers to ensure more significant improvement through vibrant legislative activities in their proceedings.
This contains in a congratulatory message made available to TopNewsng by NAWOJ in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital to the lawmakers in the press release signed by the Chairperson of the association, Mrs Fatima Bello and the Secretary, Mrs Adewumi Ademiju.

“As NAWOJ congratulates the newly swearing-in 7th Assembly lawmakers on the new feat, the women journalists also celebrate the first female deputy speaker in the state, Rt Hon. Bolaji Adediwura Egbeyemi-Olagbaju of Ado constituency 2 and other female lawmakers in the assembly with a charge to always uphold robust Gender developmemt in their activities.
“The Ekiti NAWOJ wishes the lawmakers headed by Rt. Hon. Adeoye Aribasoye a successful tenure,” the statement added.
