…..Calls for calm, keep hope alive

A House of Representatives hopeful in Ekiti State under the umbrella of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Engr. Ebenezer Adesola Alaba, has congratulated the entire workforce in Nigeria on the celebrations of this year Worker’s Day celebrations.
According to a statement made available to journalists in Ado-Ekiti by Engr. Alaba said, “With a heart full of gratitude to Almighty God, I warmly welcome each and every one of you into the blessed month of May. It is indeed a privilege and a testimony that we have crossed over into a new month, strong, alive, and hopeful. For this gift of life, we return all glory to God, who has been our sustainer, protector, and provider”.

“As we begin this new chapter, I pray that the month of May shall bring forth abundant blessings, divine upliftment, and pleasant surprises into your lives and homes. May every day of this month be filled with peace, progress, and fulfilment. Where there have been delays, may there be speedy answers; where there have been struggles, may there be ease; and where there have been tears, may joy overflow”.
“My beloved people, a new month is not just a change in date, but an opportunity to renew our faith, refocus our energy, and rekindle our hope for a better tomorrow. Let us embrace this new beginning with courage, determination, and a positive mindset. No matter the challenges we may be facing as individuals or as a people, I strongly believe that brighter days lie ahead for Ekiti State.
Engr. Alaba who is contesting for the House Representatives seat in the Ekiti Central Federal Constituency II, comprising Ekiti West, Ijero and Efon Alaaye Local Government respectfully, congratulated the Ekiti Chapter of the All Progressives Congress on the successful campaign official flag-off for the 2026 Gubernatorial election in the state.
He also applauded the developmental agenda of the Ekiti State Governor, Mr Boidun Abayomi Oyebannji to take Ekiti to the next level.
He urged Nigeria workers to be committed and keep hope alive. “I also urged all to remain committed to the values that bind us together as one people, peace, unity, hard work, and mutual respect. Let us continue to live as brothers and sisters, putting aside differences and working collectively for the growth and development of our dear state. The strength of Ekiti lies in our unity, and together, we can build a future that generations yet unborn will be proud of”.
Furthermore, “I charge our youths to remain focused, industrious, and law-abiding. You are the strength and future of our land. Channel your energy into productive ventures, believe in your dreams, and never give up on your aspirations. To our elders and leaders, your wisdom and guidance remain invaluable, and may God continue to strengthen and uphold you.
“As we journey through this month, let us remain prayerful and hopeful. May God crown our efforts with success, bless the works of our hands, and grant us all-round prosperity. May He protect our land, bring peace to our communities, and cause Ekiti State to flourish beyond expectations.
He prayed that the month of May will be a prosperous one for all. “I pray that this month shall be a turning point for good in your lives. May doors of opportunities open unto you, may favour locate you in unexpected places, and may your testimonies abound.
“Once again, I wish you all a happy, peaceful, and prosperous new month of May”,. Engr Alaba concluded.
