It was fun and celebrations galore as the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Southwest zone took a step further to endorsed Alhaji Akinsanya Musiliu, popularly known as Mc Oluomo as the national president of the union.
The zone who announced and flagged him off when a 24-man delegate, comprises of Ekiti, Ogun, Oyo, Kwara, Ondo and Lagos States visited his residence in Lagos.
The delegates were led by Ekiti NURTW State Chairman, Joseph Falope, also known as Olofooro, Ogun NURTW state acting chairman, Mustapha Ismaila, among others.
Mc Oluomo was the former Chairman of NURTW in Lagos State for many years.
The zone wants him to replace, Tajudeen Ibikunle Baruwa, who is the current President of the Union.
Encomiums as since then continue pouring in over the endorsement as other zones keeps on sending their congratulatory messages over the development.
