…Says Ekiti deserves better life

Governorship candidate in the 2026 election under the platform of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) in Ekiti State, Pastor Dr Ojo Ayodeji, has said that his party will operate all encompassing governance and that they are set to dislogde the incumbent governor of the state, Mr Biodun Oyebanji come 2026 governorship election in Ekiti.
He said that his ambition to become the next governor of the state is gathering a huge momentum daily, and that he had in his back people that matters when it comes to the coming next gubernatorial election in the state.

The ADP stalwart gave this assurance in an interview with TopNews in Ado-Ekiti on Saturday shortly after his emergency as the party flagbearer in the next year’s gubernatorial election.
Dr Ojo hinted that he had studied the trend of events for a long period preparing for the race, noting that when he decided to come out to declare for the governorship election, he knew that the time had come for him to emerge victoriously.

“ADP is ready to invest in Ekiti people through empowerment and we will ensure the that the dividend of democracy gets all the residents of our dear state. I have studied what is going on in Ekiti and I know where the shoes pinches. We don’t need to deceive ourselves, people at the local levels are suffering”.
The Ikere-Ekiti born business mogul turned-politician disclosed that he will make sure that he turns the state to a fully functioning one if elected the governor.

“I’m ready and I’m fully prepared for the job ahead because Ekiti people deserve a better life, good infrastructures that can stand the test of time. I can assure you that Ekiti money won’t be squandered under the watch as I’m ready to deliver on my promises”.
Ojo charged all the key players and stakeholders with an appeal to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to conduct free, fair and acceptable elections.
Also speaking at the event, the Deputy governorship candidate of ADP, Mrs Ibitoye Itunu said her party had what it takes to deliver during next year’s gubernatorial election in Ekiti.

According to her, “since the inception of democracy, we have not seen good development in Ekiti. The state is under-developed in all sectors. I have been following the event over the years. We wouldn’t have come out to contest nor challenge the present administration, but it is our constitutional rights and we will not disappoint them.
In his contribution, a member of the Board of Trustee in Ekiti State, Chief Kehinde Adeniyi assure Ekiti indigenes that ADP will deliver on its promises through agriculture, infrastructures, health, education for all and a viable economy.

“ADP is coming out to contest the election so as to bring hope back for more developmental strides and let them know what the good governance is all about”.
Chief Adeniyi said the party priority will be the welfare of Ekiti people and to ensure every nooks and crannies of the state get dividends of democracy through projects that will have positive impacts on people.
