All roads lead to Ikere Ekiti on Wednesday when the gates of the very first privately owned sports stadium in Ekiti State will be inaugurated.
The occasion which promises to attract dignitaries from various parts of the country will be inaugurated by the Ogoga of Ikere Ekiti, HRM Oba Adejimi Adu in the presence of invited National Assembly Members, Ministers and others.
According to a statement made available to TopNewsng said that, the over one thousand capacity stadium with Astro turf soccer pitch is good enough to host big soccer matches at anytime of the day as there are flood lights for evening matches.
The president of Olukismet Football Club, Prince Adegboye Olumide said completion of the stadium was a dream come true as the construction lasted only 8 months having started in March 2023.
He said he took a cue from the exploits of the owner of Remo Stars in Ogun State, Mr Shoname, hence he’s investing personal resources on Sports with a view to complementing government’s efforts in the Sports sector.
Shortly after the inauguration of the newly constructed Olukismet Stadium in Ikere Ekiti, the president of the football club, Prince Adegboye Olumide will be having a media interactive session with members of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN, Ekiti State where he will be sharing his mission and vision the pressmen.
