All roads lead to Okemesi community, the headquarters of Okemesi/Ido-Ile Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in Ekiti State on Sunday 5th of October 2025 will be a beehive of various impactful activities as leaders and members of First Baptist Church (Palace of Victory), will play host and be busy celebrating the Centenary Anniversary of the Church and Fund Raising of 50million Naira for the development of Church auditorium when the full event will be taking the centre stage.
The highly awaited event with the theme: “O Give Thanks Unto The Lord – Psalm 136:1, will commence by 10:00am on that day.

According a statement made available to journalists in Ado-Ekiti by the Chairman Planning Committee; Engr. Gabriel Babajide and the secretary; Deacon Oluwaseyi Ayangbemi in conjunction with the Church pastor, Rev. John Olaopa disclosed that the program promises to be actions and power-packed occasions as some of prominent guest ministers, traditional rules, political office holders, business moguls will be on ground to participate in the event.
It also read that, “the event will feature thanksgiving, awards presentation to deserving indigenes, prayers, salvation, free medical checkup and treatment, drama ministration, songs ministration, words ministration and impartation, among others.
On the awardees list, we have the following: HRM Oba Michael Gbadebo Adedeji. JP. CON, Fcpsm Ariyowonye II, The Owa-Ooye of Okemesi-Ekiti, Engr. Gabriel Folorunso Babajide, Dr. Fasina Ademola Adeusi, Mr. Adeoti Ilesanmi, Deaconess Christiana Toyosi Sodimu
Others are: Mr. Benjamin Adeniyi Alatise, Adebayo Atobaba family, Surveyor. Emmanuel Ajayi Olayinka Fakorede, Mr Akintolu Adeniyi (Eleso), Deaconess Oluremi Aduke Adedeji and Dr. (Dcn.) Afolabi Olayinka Olagunju.
The statement also added that, the special guest speaker will be the Chairman of Christians Association Nigeria and Conference President; Ekiti Baptist Conference, Rev. Dr Emmanuel Adeyinka Aribasoye, while royal father of day is the Owa-Ooye Okemesi, Oba Gbadebo Adedejii plus other dignitaries.
The planning committee enjoined the general public especially christian body and other well-wisher to grace the occasion so as to be blessed as they partake in the event that will mark the 100-years anniversary with pump and celebrations.
