The New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP), has said its as slammed the expelled members over their attempting to mislead the
public.
The party in a statement made available to TopNews in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital today after a press briefing with newsmen at the Party Secretariat located at No 2, Similoluwa Street, Ado-Ekiti, the NNPP Chairman, Chief Ade Ayeni said that the Boniface Aniebunam needs to consult with their Lawyers for proper interpretation of Court judgement.
According to him, a court ruling on April 18, 2024, reaffirmed the expulsion of Boniface Aniebunam and his gangs of rebbles, yet they’re still claiming authority outside the party using the media space to confuse the public.
The statement added that, “the Federal High Court in Abuja has urged both parties to maintain status quo, meaning that the Court ruling of April 18, 2024 still stand.
“Dr. Ajuji Ahmed remains the authentic chairman of the REGISTERED and INEC recognized NNPP as the court’s decision didn’t alter the party’s leadership structure. We wish to reiterate that the logo, slogan and flag of the Party has changed, The Aniebunam and his errands still parade the old logo, slogan and flag that is not known to Law”.
It further hinted that, “if for any reason they wish to come back to the Party, they should individually approach the Ward Chairman in their respective States for membership registrations.
The NNPP Chairman therefore urged the public to stay clear from their antics. “Members of the public are hereby enjoined to be steadfast to distinguish between the real NNPP and the rebles who remained expelled and have become tools in the hands of the Party in power.
“The National Chairman, Dr Ajuji Ahmed, the National Working Committee of New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), sent greetings to the good People of Ekiti State urging
everyone to be more committed to the goals and ideals of the Party.
