The coordinator of the International Institute of Journalism (IIJ), Ado-Ekiti Campus, comrade Dare Daniels, has warned the newly admitted students of the institution against all acts of disrespect towards fellow students and lecturers, as well as any form of flagrant disobedience to the schoolโ€™s rules and regulations.

Daniels gave the warning during the orientation programme organised for students admitted for the 2025/2026 academic session at the school premises in Ado-Ekiti.

Addressing the students, the Coordinator emphasised the importance of commitment to academic activities, urging them to take their lectures seriously, attend classes regularly and participate actively in class discussions.

He also urged them to be disciplined and serve as worthy ambassadors of the school in their various endeavours.

According to him, the institute is founded on professionalism and discipline, noting that certificates would only be awarded on the basis of โ€œcharacter and learning.โ€

The coordinator encouraged the students to maintain cordial relationships with one another, ensure proper maintenance of school facilities and the environment, and uphold decent dressing at all times.
