The Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Erelu Tosin Aluko-Ajisafe, has commended and as well celebrates with the staff of Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources.
Appreciating the staff to mark the end of the year 2023, Erelu Aluko-Ajisafe thanked the staff for their commitment to work and cooperation with the management to move the ministry forward.
According to her, “The staff of this ministry are wonderful, you’ve made the job easy since my appointment. I really enjoyed your commitment towards making Ekiti a clean, hygienic and epidemic-free state. I charge you all to do more next year. I won’t but appreciate my Governor, His Excellency Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for appointing me as commissioner in charge of this big ministry, I will never take it for granted. I believe we have been doing and will continue to do our part in ensuring that the 6 points agenda of Mr Governor in keeping Ekiti working for shared prosperity,is achieved” Aluko reiterated.
The Permanent Secretary, Mr Babatunde Alokan, while addressing the staff, also saluted their sincerity of purpose in discharging their duties in order to achieve the vision of the ministry.
“We are lucky to have Erelu Tosin Aluko-Ajisafe as our commissioner. Her pro-activeness in the discharge of her duties as commissioner is highly commendable. As a woman of honour, “Iya Ibeji No shaking” as she is popularly called, deserves the cooperation she has received from the staff, ” Alokan said.
Responding, one of the staff of Department of Administration, Mrs Iyabo Olatunji appreciated the commissioner for the gifts bought for all staff members. She described the commissioner as a caring woman who has the love of the staff at heart.
The staff joyfully sang different songs to appreciate the commissioner and eulogised her. Prayers were also said to thank God for the successful completion of year 2023.
