Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (WAN), Ekiti State Chapter, has congratulated the Technical Advisor to the Governor on Sports Development, Dr Olusola Osetoba, on her recognition by the Ekiti Future Agenda.
Dr Osetoba was honoured for her ability to harness resources to enhance Sports Development in the state within a short period, with support from Governor Biodun Oyebanji.
In a congratulatory message made available to TopNews in Ado-Ekiti by the SWAN chairman, Qozeem Oladapo and secretary, Bisi Ogunleye noted that Dr Osetoba deserved the award for her efforts at changing the face of sports facilities with the support of governor Biodun Oyebanji as well as successes recorded by Ekiti teams across other sports.
While appreciating the enviable relationship between Ekiti State SWAN and the Sports Development office, the Association prayed God to continue to be with the Technical Advisor, give her long life and good health, in her task of ensuring that Sports attain enviable standards in the State.
In a related development, SWAN also commended its Vice President, South West, Alhaji Ayodeji Ogunsakin of the NTA, over his recognition as an “Emerging Leader in Sports Broadcast Journalism”, by the Ekiti Future Agenda.
The Association noted that the cap surely fits Ogunsakin in view of his contributions to Sports Writing, not only in Ekiti State, but in the country, in the last 20 years.
Ekiti SWAN also prayed for divine protection and guidance for the SWAN VP, in all his endeavours.
