Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Oil), Senator Heineken Lokpobiri PhD, has urged Indigenous players in the Oil sector to sustain their expansion initiatives as it will promote sectoral growth and Economic development.
Senator Heineken Lokpobiri made this known during a call on him by the Chairman and Managing Director of Caverton Offshore Support Group, Mr. Aderemi Makanjuola, and his team in Abuja.
According to Senator Lokpobiri, the major item on the agenda for discussions between him and the team of Caverton Offshore Support Group was on the need to focus on enhancing support services for industry players to improve turnaround times as we continue to ramp up production.

He said, “I received the Chairman and Managing Director of Caverton Offshore Support Group, Mr. Aderemi Makanjuola, and his team, as we had discussions focusing on enhancing support services for industry players to improve turnaround times as we continue to ramp up production.”
He however said the show of commitment to the operational efficiency and industry growth is commendable, “and we explored strategic initiatives to strengthen collaboration for sustainable progress.”
“With our investment-friendly environment, it is imperative that indigenous players remain proactive in expanding their operations. These efforts will not only drive sectoral growth but also contribute significantly to national economic development.”
