…lauds Oyebanji on teachers recruitments, roads rehabilitation

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ekiti State Council has urged governor Biodun Oyebanji to, as matter of urgency upgrade the sports facilities at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium as well as in Primary Schools across the state.
In a communique made available to Topnewsng in Ado-Ekiti at the monthly Congress, the union commended the governor for the recent massive teachers and rehabilitation of township roads.
Signed by the union Secretary, comrade Kayode Babatuyi, NUJ also appealed to governor Oyebanji to ensure that, “that an experienced journalist is appointed as commissiner for information to further consolidate on the relationship between his administration and the media”.
The union also condoles with the State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji over the demise of the Onikogosi of Ikogosi, His Royal Majesty, Oba Elijah Olorunnisola, Otutubiosun III.
The house lauded the step taken by some local government Chairmen for providing security equipment to security agents, urging others to emulate such.
The congress urges Governor Oyebanji to look into the poor state of sport facilities at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium and upgrade sport facilities in primary and secondary schools.
“The union urged Ekiti residents to make themselves available for the forthcoming population and housing census as it would be of economic and political benefits for the State.
While commending the recent recruitment of primary school teachers, the Congress appeals to the state government to look into the poor state of some of the primary schools in the State and as well fill up vacancies in other sectors.
The Congress, however appealed to the state government to checkmate the unprofessional activities of traffic wardens in Ado-Ekiti.
