The newly deployed Commissioner of Police to Ekiti State, Adeniran Akinwale has officially assumed office with a message of hope.
CP Akinwale who took over from his counterpart, CP Dare Ogundare who was elevated to the post of Assistant Inspector General of police about two weeks ago.
While speaking with journalists in his office in Ado-Ekiti, CP Akinwale disclosed that his deployment was not a mistake but a call to serve the people of the ‘Fountain of Knowledge’ state.
According to him; “This time call for sober reflection because of the upsurge in insecurity but government is doing everything possible to arrest the situation.
“I am here, and I am in charge, those with weapons should submit them because I will come after them.
“We cannot do it alone as we all know that the security of our society should everybody’s responsibilities because the security agencies work on information and nothing should be hidden for us. Those who have useful and authentic informations should speak out”, Akinwale stated.
