Lawyer Tasks Stakeholders on Improvement in Education Sector

…Offers cash gifts, reading materials to students

A concerned legal practitioner who also doubled as the initiator of Ife Oladunjoye Initiative, Miss IfeOluwa Oladunjoye has called for improvement in the education sector of the country for the good of every students.

The statement was made while speaking with TopNews in Ado-Ekiti at the second annual schools competition organized for secondary school students in Ekiti State.

The convener of the event, Miss IleOluwa Oladunjoye said the idea came to her when she was much younger having been participating in such competitions promised to also give back to the society as a way of impacting lives positively for the benefits of Nigerian students.

Expressing his satisfaction in the program, the father of the initiator, Elder Biodun Iwalola Aguda advised parents to give their children sound education and also monitor their progress to become future leaders they were created to be.

The mother, Mrs Aguda Mary Olufunke who faulted some parents who neglects their roles on the education of their wards advised them to turn a new leaf in order to have a better society.

Also at the program, Dr Samuel Olumide Oladunjoye advised the students to believe in themselves as whatever they give life is what it will give back to them.

The initiator Miss Oladunjoye Ife as well advised the students to be focused on their education, avoid distractions to be able to realize their desired dreams in life.

The annual essay competition featured essay writing and public presentation by each participants on a topic tittled: “My Role In Nation Building, Leveraging Technology for Personal Development and Understanding my Uniqueness, Overcoming Peer Pressure.

About eleven registered schools participated in the competition which include Blue Crest International School, Anglican High School, Mater Christi Secondary School, Christ’s Girls Secondary School among others.

After the competition, three best winners won fifty thousand naira cash gift with other educational materials, which are Christ Girls School, Anglican High School and Ekiti Anglican Diocesan High School, all in Ado-Ekiti.

Some of the participants which includes Miss Olofintila Miracle appreciated the initiative and promised to make use of all the knowledge gained at the program.
