It was an atmosphere of glitz and glamour as praises, joy and celebrations took a centre stage on Sunday May 26th, 2024 where Baptist family in Ekiti State joined members of the Living Seed Baptist Church in Ado-Ekiti to offer their thanksgiving to God for His faithfulness.
The event organised to mark the 1st Year Anniversary and Thanksgiving Service of the newly planted Church a year ago, featured exciting programmes including hymns, choir ministration, sermon, special prayer, donation for Church instruments and interactive sessions, among others.
Speaking at the event while rejoicing with members of the sanctuary for their commitment in the last one year, the senior pastor, First Baptist Church Ado-Ekiti, Rev. Dr. Kayode Ayinde lauded the host; Pastor Manasseh Mark who has been leading the Church since inception.
While giving God Almighty all the glory for keeping His Church and for His faithfulness, the cleric described Pastor Manasseh Mark, Pastor Dickson, the Diaconate and other members of the church a well committed Christians.
Rev. Ayinde who is the planter and visioner of the Church in his sermon titted: ” Now That The Seed Has Grown”, Mathew 7:17-20, charged the congregation to do whatever in their capacity to ensure the work of God did not die in their hands.
He admonished them to continue their total support towards the upliftment of the ministry of the new church so as to fulfill God’s vision upon the church.
Ayinde who focused his charge on three cardinal point which includes Taken care of the tree through unity Psalm 133:1. You have the responsibility to work together in synergy and fend off the enemy and relating together without any iota of suspicion and be a promoter of peace.
He went a memory lane by saying to the glory of God, the mother Church has successfully planted seven churches in all which include Shalom Baptist, God’s Creation Baptist, New Life Baptist, Halleluyah Baptist, Mercy Land Baptist Emure-Ekiti, Peace Land Baptist and Living Seed Baptist Church.
He described the Peace House Baptist Church and Living Seed Baptist Church as an exemplary and outstanding in their mode of operations with the mother Church, noting that the two Churches has made church planting very interesting and convenient despite various challenges encountered in the beginning.
In his appreciation note while speaking with TopNews, the host Pastor Manasseh Mark thanked the Almighty God for preserving the lives of his members.
According to him, “Living Seed Baptist Church have so far received some materials as donation from members and also from the mother Church, but like Oliver Twist, we still need more as there are some pressing needs like sound mixer, speakers, building of of the Church auditorium and many others.
Both Pastor Manasseh and Dr Oladepo who could not hide his joy charged the congregation and other well-wishers to continue their prayers and support for the church in order to ensure that the vision did not die.
