The Vice Chancellor, Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, Professor Babatola Ayodele has expressed deep condolences to the Chancellor of the university, Dr. Tunji Olowolafe, over the death of his wife, Mrs Gbemisola Olutayo Olowolafe.
The Vice Chancellor, on behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Senate, Staff and Students, expressed regret that Mrs Olowolafe died at a time her services were much needed by her family and EKSU community. He noted further that her death has created a big vacuum that would be difficult to fill for a long time.
According to a statement made available to TopNews oin Ado-Ekiti by the Deputy Registrar, Directorate of Information & Corporate Affairs, Bode Olofinmuagun, said “Professor Ayodele prayed for the repose of her soul, while encouraging Dr. Olowolafe to take solace in the fact that her demise is the will of God”.

He described the deceased as a strong pillar to the Olowolafe dynasty and prayed further that the Almighty God would console and comfort the husband, children and grandchildren left behind.
