…calls for true reflection on Christ’s teachings

Lead pastor of First Baptist Church, Miracle Cathedral, Okeyinmi Ado-Ekiti in Ekiti State has charged the good people of Nigeria not to loose fucus, but to keep hope alive in Christ Jesus.
The cleric who also extended warm Easter greetings to all Christians in Ekiti State and Nigeria at large, as Christians across the world commemorate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Ayinde gave the charge while fielding questions from journalists in Ado-Ekiti on Sunday. He urged Christians and Nigerian leaders to imbibe the enduring lessons of love, sacrifice, humility, and selflessness exemplified by the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The religious leader emphazed that the season presents a profound opportunity for reflection, renewal, and commitment to righteous living. He said the teachings of Easter should inspire individuals to promote unity, compassion, and integrity in their daily lives, adding that such virtues are essential for personal growth and societal development.
He wished all residents of the country a joyful and peaceful Easter celebration, urging them to remain hopeful and steadfast in the face of challenges especially the insecurity ravaging the security.
He prayed may the resurrection of Christ bring renewed hope, peace, and prosperity to every lives and communities in Ekiti State.
The former Conference President of Ekiti Baptist Conference hoping that the June 20 governorship and other elections in Ekiti State will be peaceful, urging all stakeholders to operate with the fear of God.
