The Technical Advisor to Governor Biodun Oyebanji on Political Matters, Dr Akogun Tai Oguntayo, has donated a brand new flat-screen television and GOtv decoder to the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ekiti Council.

Akogun, who was a former Chairman of the Union, also unveiled a fifty-thousand-naira prize for the best fiction writer in the Association of Nigerian Authors.
The donation was made during a special reading organized by the Association of Nigerian Authors to commemorate the birthday of Akogun Oguntayo, who was the pioneer Chairman of the association in Ekiti State.
Presenting the gadgets, Akogun Oguntayo said the decision was part of his personal conviction to always give back to society.

He affirmed that NUJ had hosted ANA for four years without collecting a dime, hence the need to reciprocate the gesture.
Similarly, the Director-General, Bureau of Tourism, Barrister Wale Ojo-Lanre, also promised to donate a plasma television to the Union.
Wale Ojo-Lanre was also a two-term Chairman of NUJ in Oyo State.
Receiving the items, NUJ Chairman, Kayode Babatuyi appreciated Akogun Oguntayo for the gift and urged others to take a cue from him.
