Leaders of Ekiti Baptist Conference, pastors and members of the Christian community in Ekiti State have celebrated the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Dr. Rev. Emmanuel Adeyinka Aribasoye, as he marks his 60th Birthday on Monday, the 6th of September 2026.
The celebration was an opportunity for church leaders, colleagues, friends and well-wishers to appreciate God for His faithfulness over the life and ministry of the celebrant.
Speaking with newsmen at the event, the Acting Conference President of the Baptist in Ekiti, Rev. Kayode Adewumi described Dr. Aribasoye as a committed servant of God, a father and a leader whose dedication to the Churches and service to humanity have positively impacted many lives.
Rev. Adewumi who led other Executive members, thanked God for preserving the celebrant and his family in sound health and granting him the grace to witness his diamond jubilee celebrations.
They prayed for continued divine protection, good health, wisdom, greater grace and many more fruitful years in God’s service.
The celebrant, Rev. Dr. Aribasoye who could not hide his joy expressed gratitude to God for His mercy and faithfulness throughout his life, acknowledging that his achievements and journey in ministry have been made possible by God’s grace.
Wife of the celebrant, Mrs. Modupe Felicia Aribasoye, joined family members, church leaders and well-wishers in celebrating the milestone of her husband and thanking God for the life of her husband.
Mrs. Aribasoye used the opportunity to charge all mothers especially the young ones in marriage to be committed and give their husbands all the necessary support for a successful home.
The celebration ended with prayers, presentation of gifts, goodwill messages and expressions of appreciation, with attendees wishing Dr. Rev. Emmanuel Adeyinka Aribasoye many more years of impactful service to God, the Church and humanity in general.
