The Ekiti State Police Command has declared a 19-year-old girl, Damdam Happiness missing and is urging members of the public to assist in locating her.
According to the Command, the teenager left her residence on 10th August, 2026 at about 4:00 PM to an unknown destination and has not been seen or heard from since.
This was contained in a press statement made available to TopNews in Ado-Ekiti by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Abutu Sunday on 16th August, 2026.
The Command said all efforts made by her relatives and friends to trace her whereabouts have proved abortive.
SP Sunday described the missing girl as approximately 4.5 feet tall light in complexion with no tribal marks and she speaks English fluently.
“While the Command has commenced investigation to unravel her whereabouts, anyone with useful information concerning her present location is kindly requested to contact the nearest Police Station or call +2349064050086 the statement read.
The police appealed to residents and the general public to help disseminate the information widely in order to aid in locating the teenager.
The Command assured that it is doing everything possible to unravel the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.
Members of the public with credible information are advised to come forward as investigations continue.
