.…as Rev. Ayinde charges christians on dedication, generosity

Sunday June 14, 2025 was indeed glorious in the lives of Baptist family in Ekiti State as worshipers of First Baptist Church (Miracle Cathedral), Okeyinmin, Ado-Ekiti, the state capital joined members of one of their daughter churches, Living Seed Baptist Church, located along Federal Polytechnic Road in Ado-Ekiti to offer their thanksgiving to God for His faithfulness and also performed the commissioning of a new auditorium.


The event organised to mark the 3rd Anniversary and commissioning for the new church planted three years ago, featured exciting programmes including hymns, choir ministration, sermon, special prayer, donation for the upliftment of God’s and interactive sessions, among others.
Addressing participants at the event while rejoicing with members of the sanctuary for their commitment in the last few years, the lead pastor of First Baptist Church (Miracle Cathedral), Ado-Ekiti, Rev. Dr. Kayode Ayinde hail members of the church including the undershepherd of the church , Pastor Ezekiel Moses and also Pastor Mark Manasseh whose God used to lead the Church for few years.
While giving God Almighty all the glory for keeping His Church and for His faithfulness, the cleric described Pastor Ezekiel, Dr Bolade and Deaconess Oladepo, plus few other members of the church a well committed and coordinated assembly.

Rev. Dr. Kayode & Rev. Dr Hellen Ayinde who is the planters and visioners of the Church in the sermon titted: ”Celebrsting The God Of All Possibilities”, was drew from the scripture; Mathew 19:26 & Luke 1:37, charged the congregation to do whatever in their capacity, be committed to God’s assignments and also to ensure the work of God did not die in their hands.
According to him, “Our service to God through devotion and dedication should not be compromised and that any seed planted by God can never die but continue growing. “It goes in every aspect of life numerically, physically, financially and ministerially as it does not accommodate labour loss. There is always a space between the time you sow and reap. Those who build it does not labour uselessly because He is joining them”.
He admonished them not to jetition payment of tithe and to continue their total support towards the upliftment of the ministry of the new church so as to fulfill God’s vision upon the church.
“Be devoted to God’s work and pay tithe to uplift the ministry. It’s devotion that can bring progress to to the church and it’s body at large. You have the responsibility to work together in synergy and fend off the enemy and relating together without any iota of suspicion and be a promoter of peace”.
He described Living Seed Baptist Church as one of the exemplary and outstanding in their mode of operations with mother Church, noting that they have made church planting very interesting and convenient despite various challenges encountered in the beginning.
Performing the official commissioning of the new auditorium alongside other dignitaries, Rev. Ayinde urged members not to relent in given to God’s project, but donate generously and let their vision translate to provisions by providing resources, prayer and be committed to God’s work.
“No giving, no growth. Serve the Lord with zeal, be zealous and also generous about the things of God because it’s rewarding. Always serve God with hospitality”, the cleric concluded.

Appreciating the planters and members of the Church, the host Pastor, Ezekiel Moses thanked the Almighty God and the leadership of the mother Church for given him the opportunity to serve the church in that capacity.
According to him, “Living Seed Baptist Church have so far received some materials as donation from members and also from the mother Church, but like Oliver Twist, we still need more as there are some pressing needs like drum set, sound mixer, speakers, painting of church building and many others.
Speaking with Topnews in a separate interview, Pastor Ezekiel, the church secretary; Dr Bolade Oladepo, WMU president; Mrs. Ileyemi Funmilayo, Architect Awotunde Adebayo and other members of the church who could not hide their feelings appealed to the congregation and other well-wishers to continue their prayers and support for the church in realization of the new church project so as to ensure that the vision did not die in their hands, they observed that Living Seed Baptist Church still in need of some pressing needs like sound mixer, speakers, building of of the Church auditorium and many others.
It would be recalled that the groundbreaking of the ew building for the Living Seed Baptist Church was performed exactly a year ago and was completed within the space of one year and commissioned during the third anniversary of the sanctuary.
Highlight of the ceremony was planting of trees in the church premises which denotes the name of the church.
The event was indeed grand as the atmosphere of the place makes every aspect glitz and glamour as praises, joy and celebrations took a centre stage on Sunday.
