The Commandant of the Peace Corps of Nigeria (PCN), Ekiti State Command, Patriot Matthew Blessing Okotie, has charged officers of the Corps to embrace the golden opportunity surrounds the Corps.
Okotie, who gave the advise in an exclusive interview with TopNews at the office Headquarters in Ado-Ekiti on Thursday with a clarion call to the officers of PCN to grab the ongoing opportunity.
He urged them not to relent but to keep hope alive and visit the State Command of the organization for necessary documentation and immediate actions.

His words: “With the recent development and the grace received from the National, it has become very imperative for every Peace Corps of Nigeria officers across the nook and cranny of Ekiti State, from the inception of this command till date, to visit the State Headquarters in Ado-Ekiti for necessary information and documentation”.
According to Okotie, the window of opportunity has been leave open again, and will come to an end within two weeks from now.
“This exercise is expected to be completed within two weeks. After the expiration of this period, the window of opportunity may be closed, as there is an official list being compiled and forwarded for this purpose. Once the list is submitted, there may never be another opportunity again in a lifetime”.
“Therefore, I passionately appeal to all officers who have contributed, sacrificed, and suffered in one way or another for the progress and growth of this command to make themselves available within the stipulated time. Let us not labour in vain and allow others to reap where we have sown”.
The commandant also enjoyed any of the officers of the Corps who may have acquired additional certificates after enrollment should come with it to the state command in Ado-Ekiti without delay.
“Ensure you come promptly before it becomes too late because an adage says time waits for no one. A word is enough for the wise”, Okotie submitted.
