Ekiti PFAN Hail Governor Oyebanji Over Ekiti Queens FC Air Travel

The Professional Footballers Association of Nigeria (PFAN), Ekiti State chapter, has publicly applauded Governor Biodun Oyebanji for facilitating the air travel of Ekiti Queens Football Club to Yola the Adamawa State capital for their away encounter against Adamawa Queens Football Club.

According to a statement made available to TopNews in Ado-Ekiti by the PFAN Chairman, comrade Oluwole Ogunwole, the association described the gesture demonstrates a strong commitment to the welfare and development of sports, particularly women’s football, by ensuring the team travels comfortably and safely for competitive matches.

The PFAN leader promised to support Governor Oyebanji and to mobilize over 5,000 members in backing his second-term ambition.

The group also hinted that Governor Oyebanji’s administration has support of athletes and sports stakeholders, noting that such interventions will boost morale and performance of sports in Ekiti.

“This development highlights the growing intersection between sports development and political goodwill in the state, with football bodies recognizing government efforts that directly impact players’ welfare”, Ogunwole stated.
