New Dawn as Ido-Ile Community Elect New Leaders

….as Olojudo charges indigene on more developmental strides

In a bid to further enhance the development and progress of Ido-Ile Ekiti community in Ekiti West Local Government Areas of Ekiti State, a new set of National Executives members to pilot the affairs of Ido-Ile Progressive Union (IPU) has been affirmed and inaugurated on March 7.

Speaking after during the inauguration where the community leaders affirmed the new executive, the Olojudo of Ido-Ile, His Royal Majesty Oba Aderemi Obaleye who could not hide his joy, expressed satisfaction with the new leaders. The monarch advised them to bring their wealth of experiences to move the community forward.

On the list of the new executive includes; Dr Adejoro Fasanmade who emerged the new National President of IPU, Mr Tayo Olauyi as Deputy President 1, Mr Niyi Oloidi as Deputy President 2, Elder Pius Ajayi became the Deputy President 3.

The trio of Hon. Adeoye Ajayi, Hon. Sesan Jayeola and Navy Comdr. Olufemi Ajayi (Rtd) is to serve as Vice president 1,2,3 respectfully. Hon. Tayo Adeoye as Secretary, Aare Bayo Fatokun as Asst. Secretary, Pastor Dare Ibironke will serve as Treasurer while Engr. Pastor Ojo Ajibola emerged the Financial Secretary.

Also, Mr Oladunjoye Asaolu as Minutes Secretary while Mr Adebowale Adefabi is to serve as Publicity Secretary, Engr. Aderemi Ajayi as Auditor, Prof. Olariike Ogunbusola as Social Secretary while Ven. Dr Julius Fatokun and High Chief Adesoji Adeleke are to serve as Ex-Officio Members.

Others are IPU branch Chairman Lagos, Dr Sola Oyebode, Aramoko branch Chairman, Chief Tunde Oyebode, Ibadan IPU Chairman Elder Sunday Oluwa toyin, Efon branch Chairman, Mr Dayo Agbekeye, Ado-Ekiti branch Chairman Mr Tayo Olauyi, Canon Adedotun Adewale, Akure IPU branch Chairman and Rev Dele Ogunmodede Ido-Ile branch Chairman, Hon. Jide Jegede (Current Councilor).

While Mr Segun Oloidi, Engr Dayo Ibironke and Chief Ebenezer Oni are to serve as Technical Advisors.
Mrs Bosede Arowosafe as Gender Rep/Mobilizer.

In his acceptance speech, the new IPU National President, Dr Adejoro Fasanmade promised on behalf of other executive to work with the monarch to further enhance more developments to the ancient town.
The new exco’s tenure expires after four years.
