Ekiti Commissioner Seeks More Support for Oyebanji, Distributes Gift Items, Cash

The Ekiti State Commissioner for Trade, Industry, Investment and Cooperative, Mrs Omotayo Adeola has called on well-meaning people of Ekiti to keep supporting the administration of the Ekiti State governor, Biodun Oyebanji in its quest to develop and bring more dividend of democracy to the people of the state more than ever before.

Mrs. Omotayo who made the call while embarked on a thank you tour and the distribution of food stuff, cash gifts plus beverages to Muslim faithful for the Ramadan season and also to Christians members who are observing Lent as part of support from governor Oyebanji’s administration to the residents of Ado-Ekiti.

The All Progressives Congress chieftain who commended party members across various Wards in Ado-Ekiti thanked the Governor for his unflinching developmental programmes in the state.

She appealed to the people of the state to reciprocate the good gesture they are receiving from the government through commitment and hard work to ensure adequate participation in all the ongoing activities across the length and bregth of Ekiti so as to benefit immensely especially in modern/mechanized farming been introduced by the governor to better the lives of Ekiti people through agriculture.

The Ado-Ekiti born politician noted that the giant strides of Mr Oyebanji particularly in the area of infrastructures was second to none in the history of Ekiti.

According to her, “Governor Oyebanji is doing all he could as the leader. Let me encouraged and assured all Ekiti people of His Excellency unending support towards welfare of all Ekiti people in terms of his developmental agenda. The governor will not leave no stone unturned.

“We want to use this great opportunity to thank the party faithful especially in Ado-Ekiti. They have been so good and supportive in developing Ekiti and this is to show our token of appreciation to them for the love and unrelenting cooperation so far,” Mrs Omotayo concluded.

Some of the party stalwarts in Ado-Ekiti and other beneficiaries who spoke with TopNews in an exclusive interview expressed appreciation to the governor, described him a passionate and uncommon leader for his continuous support and switch respond to issues in all the sectors in Ekiti.

They described Mr Oyebanji as people’s-friendly Governor who always wants the best for the state and its people, the commissioner urged people not to relent in their prayers for the Governor and his cabinet members.

During the tour, ten Wards were visited in all which includes Ward Atikankan area, Oke-Ila, Ijigbo plus some others, while the remaining three Wards will be captured next week with a promise to do more and carry everyone along.
