The capital city of Ekiti State, Ado-Ekiti precisely, will be a beehive of various sporting activities as the Office of Sports Development in the State will be officially perform the public presentation and unveiling the duo of Akin Olowookere and Jacob Vandy as the Head Coaches of Ekiti United Football Club and Ekiti Queens Football Club respectively.
In a statement made available to TopNews by the Technical Advisor to the Governor on Sports Development, Dr. Mrs Olusola Osetoba, said the unveiling ceremony will take place on Monday, 12th August, 2024 at the popular Oluyemi Kayode Stadium, Dalimore area, Ado-Ekiti by 10am prompt.
Dr Osetoba urged all stakeholders, Sports lovers, football clubs owners and residents of the state to be punctual for the epoch making event.
She assured them that no stone would be left unturned in order to reposition over twenty six (26) Sporting activities across the sixteen Local Government and Local Council Development Areas of the state.
It would be recalled that the new technical crews for the two State owned football clubs in Ekiti State, Ekiti United FC and Ekiti Queens FC have been approved by the Ekiti State governor, His Excellency, Biodun Oyebanji.
The statement added that the crews and staff of both teams have officially assumed duties on 1st of August 2024, ahead of commencement of the two different football leagues that they will be campaigning this new season.
