Through the Olanlege led FA, positive participation in football has been maintained all year round for youths. With a change of leadership in sight, many would expect that the football ecosystem would be clouded by politics, the ecosystem is nonetheless buzzing with preparations for the finals of two of the most important tournaments in Ekiti, less than two weeks before the election takes place.
The schedule of these trilogy high profile events in 8 days gets underway with the 2023 grand finale of the prestigious Bet9ja Ekiti Football League, lauded as the best state league in the country.
The explosive BEFL final for Saturday, May 20th, 2023 at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium, Ado Ekiti will be graced by eminent football stakeholders and top brands managers.
On the 26th of May, the Champions of the Ekiti Football Ecosystem for the year will emerge when the Ekiti FA Cup for Champions climaxes also at the Oluyemi kayode Stadium, Ado-Ekiti.
It all goes to a crescendo when Olanlege hands over to the new Chairman of the Ekiti Football Association. The body’s Executive Committee will be elected on Saturday 27th at the Ekiti State FA Elective Congress and the victors will be sworn in immediately.
