All road leads to Ado-Ekiti has the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ Ekiti State Council, sets to conduct election for a new set of Executive.
The election will produce new officers that will pilot the affairs of the union for the next three years.
The election and inauguration of the new executive officers will take place tomorrow Wednesday, 20th December, 2023 at the NUJ Secretariat, Okebarake near Old Governor’s office, Ado Ekiti by two O’clock in the afternoon.
According to a statement made available to TopNews by the Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists Electoral Committee, NUJECO, comrade Yaqoub Popoola and the Secretary, comrade Amos Ogunrinde implores NUJ members across the State to be at the Secretariat for the exercise.
The statement further appeals to them to be orderly during the election and inauguration.
Meanwhile the manifesto night ahead of the NUJ Election in Ekiti State comes up today at the union Secretariat in Ado Ekiti beginning from five O’clock in the evening.
